هذه الرسالة ضمن مشروع علمي بعنوان: ((تخريج الفروع على الأصول من كتاب "التحبير شرح التحرير" للمرداوي، وهو مكون من أربع رسائل، وهذه الرسالة في قسم ((العام والخاص، والمطلق والمقيد، والمجمل والمبين، والمنطوق والمفهوم، والنسخ))، وهي الرسالة الثالثة من الرسائل الأربعة.
منهج البحث في هذه الرسالة: المنهج الوصفي.
تتكون الرسالة من مقدمة، وتمهيد، وستة فصول: وتشتمل الفصول الخمسة الأولى على تخريج الفروع على الأصول فيما يتعلق بدلالات الألفاظ، من عام وخاص، ومطلق ومقيد، ومجمل ومبين، ومنطوق ومفهوم، والفصل الأخير في تخريج الفروع على الأصول في مسائل النسخ، وتنتهي بخاتمة.
أبرز نتائج البحث:
1-أن علم تخريج الفروع على الأصول من أهم العلوم، لما فيه من ربط أصول الفقه بثمرته.
2-أن الإمام المرداوي شيخ المذهب الحنبلي، وإمامه، ومصححه، ومنقحه.
3-أن كتاب "التحبير شرح التحرير" موسوعة أصولية، فقد حرص فيه المرداوي على استيعاب مسائل أصول الفقه، وعلى ذكر المذاهب الأربعة، والعلماء المعتبرين، واهتم بتقرير المذهب الحنبلي في أصول الفقه، وجمع شتاته من المصادر الأصلية، ويذكر المسائل الفقهية على سبيل التمثيل غالبا.
4-أن الأصوليين يهتمون اهتماما بالغا في معرفة دلالات ألفاظ الشرع المتعلقة بعمومها وخصوصها، والمطلق منها والمقيد، ومجملها وما يحصل به البيان، ويدرسون ما يستفاد من منطوق اللفظ، وما يؤخذ من مفهومها.
5-أن النسخ من مسائل أصول الفقه المهمة، فلا يبلغ درجة الاجتهاد حتى يتقنه العالم ومن لا يعرفه ليس له حق أن يتكلم في الدين.
Abstract: Title of the Thesis: "Extracting Branches on Principles from the Book 'At-Tahbir Sharh At-Tahrir' by Al-Mardawi: Compilation and Study."
This thesis is part of a scientific project titled: "Extracting Branches on Principles from the Book 'At-Tahbir Sharh At-Tahrir' by Al-Mardawi." The project consists of four theses, and this particular thesis falls within the section of "General and Specific, Absolute and Restricted, Comprehensive and Explicit, Uttered and Understood, Abrogating and Abrogated." It is the third thesis among the four.
Research Methodology:
The research methodology employed in this thesis is descriptive.
Structure of the Thesis:
The thesis consists of an introduction, a preamble, two chapters: The first chapter deals with the extraction of branches on principles regarding the indications of terms, covering general and specific meanings, absolute and restricted contexts, comprehensive and explicit interpretations, uttered and understood expressions. This chapter includes five sections. The second chapter discusses extracting branches on principles in matters related to abrogation (naskh). This chapter contains one section. The thesis concludes with a conclusion.

Al-Mardawi aimed to encompass the issues of jurisprudential principles, mentioned the four main schools of thought, esteemed scholars, and focused on establishing the Hanbali school's stance on principles of jurisprudence. He compiled fragmented information from original sources, often representing fiqh issues metaphorically.
4. Scholars of principles (usul) place great emphasis on understanding the meanings of Sharia terms, whether they are general or specific, absolute or restricted, comprehensive or explicit, and they explore the meanings conveyed by the expressions and concepts.
5. The concept of abrogation (naskh) is significant in principles of jurisprudence. A scholar cannot reach the level of ijtihad (independent legal reasoning) until they master this concept, and those who lack understanding of it have no right to speak about matters of religion.
