المستخلص: أُعدت هذه الدراسة كرسالة علمية مقدّمة للحصول على درجة العالمية العالية «الدكتوراه» في الاقتصاد الإسلامي وجاءت تحت عنوان «تطوير الوقف الإسلامي من خلال تنمية موارده المالية: دراسة تطبيقية على الأوقاف الإسلامية في كينيا»
وتمثلت مشكلة البحث في التساؤلات التالية: ما واقع الموارد المالية للأوقاف الإسلامية في كينيا؟ وما مدى كفايتها والحاجة إلى تنميتها؟ وما متطلبات تطوير الأوقاف الإسلامية في كينيا؟ وما وسائل تنمية مواردها المالية؟
تم الاعتماد على المنهج التاريخي والاستقرائي وكذلك المنهج الوصفي التحليلي.
خلص البحث إلى أن الأوقاف الإسلامية تسهم بدور كبير في خدمة المسلمين في كينيا في مجالات التعليم الديني؛ وذلك ببناء المساجد ودعم الكتاتيب، والمدارس الشرعية والجامعات، وفي مجال الدعوة؛ من كفالة للدعاة، ورعاية حديثي العهد بالإسلام، وفي مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية؛ من كفالة الأيتام والأرامل، وفي مجال الأمن المائي؛ بتوفير المياه النظيفة من خلال تمويل حفر الآبار، وتفتقد الأوقاف الإسلامية في كينيا لدور فاعل في مجال الرعاية الصحية، لرعاية المسلمين وكفايتهم شر المنصرين.
Abstract: This study was prepared as a scientific thesis submitted to obtain a high international degree «PhD» in Islamic economics and came under the title «Development of Islamic Endowment through the Development of its Financial Resources: An Applied Study on Islamic Endowments in Kenya»
The research problem was represented in the following questions: What is the reality of the financial resources of Islamic endowments in Kenya? How adequate are they and the need to develop them? What are the requirements for the development of Islamic endowments in Kenya? What are the means of developing their financial resources?
The historical and inductive approach as well as the descriptive and analytical approach were relied upon.
The research concluded that Islamic endowments contribute a major role in serving Muslims in Kenya in the fields of religious education, by building mosques and supporting schools, Sharia schools and universities, and in the field of advocacy, from sponsoring preachers, caring for new to Islam, and in the field of social welfare, from sponsoring orphans and widows, and in the field of water security, by providing clean water by financing the drilling of wells, and Islamic endowments in Kenya lack an active role in the field of health care, to care for Muslims and suffice them from the evil of the missionaries.
