المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى: التعرف على نشأة وتطور المسؤولية الاجتماعية للقطاع الخاص السعودي، وإلى تحليل ممارسات القطاع الخاص السعودي للمسؤولية الاجتماعية، ومدى مساهمته في التخفيف من الآثار الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لأزمة كوفيد -19، وإلى تقديم بعض المقترحات لتطوير وتعزيز المسؤولية الاجتماعية للقطاع الخاص السعودي.
المنهج المتبع في هذا البحث هو المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يعمل على وصف وتحليل البيانات المتعلقة بموضوع الدراسة، والتي سيتم جمعها من التقارير المنشورة عن الأزمة وكيفية تعامل القطاع الخاص السعودي معها، ويتم أيضاً اتباع المنهج التاريخي لرصد التطور التاريخي للمسؤولية الاجتماعية، في المملكة العربية السعودية، وينقسم البحث إلى: مقدمة وتمهيد، وأربعة فصول ،وخاتمة، وفهارس.
وخلص الباحث في ختام البحث إلى أهم النتائج ومنها:
وجود علاقة طردية بين ظهور الأزمات وتفعيل دور المسؤولية الاجتماعية في المملكة العربية السعودية، يكشف عنها التزامن في ظهور مفاهيم المسؤولية الاجتماعية مع بداية الجائحة كبديل أكثر تنظيماً وفعالية للعمل التعاوني والتضامن الاجتماعي.
كما أوصى في ختام البحث على:
إلزام الشركات بوضع خطة للمسؤولية الاجتماعية، مع التحقق من واقعية مستهدفاتها والتأكد من إمكانية تحقيقها، ومراجعتها بشكل دوري.
Abstract: Objective: The research aims to explore the emergence and evolution of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the Saudi private sector, analyze the CSR practices of the Saudi private sector, and assess its contribution to mitigating the economic and social impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, it seeks to provide suggestions for developing and enhancing CSR in the Saudi private sector.
Methodology: This research employs a descriptive-analytical approach, which involves describing and analyzing data related to the study's subject, collected from published reports on the crisis and the Saudi private sector's response to it. Additionally, a historical approach is used to trace the historical development of CSR in Saudi Arabia. The research is structured into an introduction, a preface, four chapters, a conclusion, and indexes.
Findings: The researcher concluded with several key findings, including:
There is a positive correlation between the emergence of crises and the activation of CSR in Saudi Arabia, as evidenced by the concurrent emergence of CSR concepts with the onset of the pandemic, presenting a more organized and effective alternative for cooperative and social solidarity efforts.
Recommendations:
Companies should be required to develop a CSR plan, ensure its objectives are realistic and achievable, and review it periodically.
