Title Semiotic Study of Facial Expressions in Arabic Poetry until the End of the Fourth Hijri Century

المستخلص: استهدفَ هذا البحث بعنوان (دلالات الوجه في الشِّعر العربي حتى نهاية القرن الرابع الهجري – دراسة سيميائية) الدلالة بوصفها أحد فروع علم اللغة التي تهتمّ بدراسة المعاني وما تدلُّ عليه، وتُعنى بإبراز العلامات والرموز وما تشير إليه، وتوجَّه البحث نحو دلالات الوجه في الشِّعر العربي، حيث ملاحظة العلامات المختلفة في وجه الإنسان وما يمكن أن تدلَّ عليه.
وأهمية الدراسة تكمن في كشف جوانب مهمة فيما يتصل بدلالات الوجه في الشِّعر العربي، وملاحظة البِنية السطحية للنَّص الشعري، ثم محاولة مساس البِنية العميقة له،وتجلية المعاني المرادة، وربط أطرافه، مع ما يتولَّد عن ذلك من إبانة للدلالات المختلفة، والأنساق المتصلة، ومنظومة العلامات المختلفة للوجه.
وشمل البحث مقدمة، وتمهيدًا،وثلاثة أبواب، أولاها عن العلامات اللغوية الخاصة بالوجه ودلالاتها، وفيه ثلاثة فصول هي الدلالات النفسية، والدلالات الاجتماعية، والدلالات الثقافية؛ وثانيها عن الأنساق المتصلة بالوجه وملامحه، وفيه ثلاثة فصول هي الأنساق الاستعارية، والأنساق الرمزية، والأنساق الأيقونية؛ وثالثها عن منظومة العلامات الحركية للوجه، وفيه ثلاثة فصول هي علامات الصوت، وعلامات اللون، وعلامات الإيقاع؛ ثم الخاتمة، وأبرز النتائج والتوصيات؛ ثم الفهارس.
وكان المنهج السيميائي هو المقدَّم في قراءة النصوص الشعرية؛كونه يتجه لدراسة العلامات، ويهتمّ بدراسة أنساق الإشارات والرموز؛ مع عدم إغفال المناهج الأخرى التي لها اتصال بهذه الدراسة، وتساهم في تحليل النصوص بشكل أكبر.
Abstract: This research, titled "Semiotic Study of Facial Expressions in Arabic Poetry until the End of the Fourth Hijri Century," aims to explore semiotics as a branch of linguistics that focuses on the study of meanings and their indications. It highlights symbols and signs and their implications, specifically focusing on the facial expressions in Arabic poetry. The study involves observing various signs on the human face and their possible interpretations.
The significance of the study lies in uncovering important aspects related to the semiotics of facial expressions in Arabic poetry. It aims to analyze the superficial structure of poetic texts, delve into their deeper structures, elucidate intended meanings, and connect various elements. This includes revealing different interpretations, connected patterns, and the system of various signs related to facial expressions.
The research comprises an introduction, a prelude, and three main sections. The first section explores linguistic signs related to the face and their meanings. It includes three chapters on psychological, social, and cultural significances. The second section discusses patterns related to the face and its features, with three chapters covering metaphorical, symbolic, and iconic patterns. The third section delves into the system of dynamic signs for the face, with three chapters on sound signs, color signs, and rhythm signs. The research concludes with a conclusion highlighting key findings and recommendations, followed by indexes.
The semiotic approach is adopted as the methodology for reading poetic texts, as it focuses on the study of signs and explores patterns of signals and symbols. Other relevant methodologies are not neglected, as they contribute to a more comprehensive analysis of the texts.
