Title (Mukhtaṣar Rawḍat al-ṭālibīn), written by: Najm-Din Abdul Rahman bin Youssef bin Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Asfooni Al-Shafi’i (died. 750 AH), from the beginning of (The book of Waiting Period "Al-I'ddah") to the end of (Branch: if the safety is revoked in the sea, it includes with it what he uses of clothes and craft tools) from the book of captivity -Study and Investigation.

المستخلص: هذه رسالة علمية مقدمة لنيل درجة العالمية (الماجستير) في الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة كلية الشريعة -قسم الفقه-.
وهي عبارة عن تحقيق جزء من كتاب (مختصر روضة الطالبين) تأليف: نجم الدين عبد الرّحمن بن يوسُف بن إِبراهيم بن عليّ الأَصفُوني الشافعي (ت750ه)، من بداية (كتاب العدة) إلى نهاية (فرع: في البحر إن أطلق الأمان، دخل فيه ما يستعمله من ثياب وآلة حرفة) من كتاب السير- دراسةً وتحقيقاً.
وقد اعتمدت في تحقيقه على نسختين وهما: نسخة المكتبة الأزهرية، القاهرة، مصر، واعتمدتها نسخة الأصل، ونسخة المكتبة الظاهرية، دمشق، وجعلتها للمقابلة.
قسمت الرسالة إلى مقدمة وقسمين وفهارس فنية.
أولاً صدرت الكتاب بمقدمة ثم القسمين وبيانهما كالآتي:
القسم الأول: قسم الدراسة: ويشتمل على مبحثين، المبحث الأول: التعريف بالمؤلف، والمبحث الثاني: التعريف بالكتاب.
القسم الثاني: التحقيق: ويشتمل النص المحقق، وفيه: (كتاب العدة، وكتاب الرضاع، وكتاب النفقات، وكتاب الجنايات، وكتاب الديات، وكتاب الإمامة وقتال البغاة، وكتاب الردة، وكتاب حد الزنا، وكتاب السير).
ثم اختتمت الرسالة بذكر المصادر والمراجع ووضع الفهارس الفنية اللازمة.
اعتمدت في كل ذلك على دليل الرسائل العلمية المعتمد من قبل عمادة الدراسات العليا.
Abstract: This is a scientific thesis submitted to obtain a Master's degree at the Islamic University of Madinah, College of Sharia - Department of Jurisprudence.
It is an investigation of a part of the book (Mukhtaṣar Rawḍat al-ṭālibīn), written by: Najm-Din Abdul Rahman bin Youssef bin Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Asfooni Al-Shafi’i (died. 750 AH), from the beginning of (The book of Waiting Period "Al-I'ddah") to the end of (Branch: if the safety is revoked in the sea, it includes with it what he uses of clothes and craft tools) from the book of captivity -Study and Investigation.
I relied on two copies in its investigation: the copy of the Al-Azhar library, Cairo, Egypt, which was adopted as the original copy, and the copy of the al-Ẓāhirīyah library, Damascus, and it was used for comparison.
The thesis was divided into an introduction, two sections, and technical indexes.
First, the book was prefaced with an introduction, then the two sections as follows:
The first section: the study section: It includes two chapters, the first chapter: introducing the author, and the second chapter: introducing the book.
The second section: the investigation: it includes the verified text, which includes: (the book of the waiting period, the book of breastfeeding, the book of expenses, the book of crimes, the book of blood money, the book of Imamate and the fight against the transgressors, the book of apostasy, the book of the punishment of adultery, and the book of captivity).
Then the thesis was concluded by mentioning the sources and references and adding the necessary technical indexes.
In all of this, I relied on the scientific thesis guide approved by the Deanship of Graduate Studies.
