أهمية الكتاب:
1-مكانة المؤلّف العلميّة، وجلالة قدره في المذهب المالكيّ؛ حيث إنَّ الشّيخ شرف الدّين الطُّخَيْخِي يُعدُّ من أَعيان علماء المالكيّة في عصره.
2-أنَّه كتاب مختصر، فقد بيَّن بعض مسائل المتن بعبارة واضحة دون اختصار مُخلٍّ، أو إطناب مُمِلٍّ.
منهجية تحقيق الكتاب:
اعتمدتُ في تحقيق هذا الكتاب على ثلاث نسخ:
الأولى: وهي الأصل، نسخة مكتبة ليدن بهولندا.
الثانية: للمقابلة: نسخة دار الكتب الوطنيّة بتونس.
الثالثة: للمقابلة: نسخة المكتبة الأزهريّة بمصر.
تقسيم دراسة الكتاب:
قد قسَّمت الدراسة إلى مقدمة، وقسمين، وفهارس فنية، وبيانهما كالآتي:
القسم الأوَّل: قسم الدّراسة، ويشتمل على أربعة مباحث رئيسيّة؛ المبحث الأوَّل: التّعريف بمؤلِّف المختصر. المبحث الثاني: التّعريف بكتاب المختصر. المبحث الثالث: التّعريف بمؤلِّف الدُّرر. المبحث الرَّابع: التعريف بكتاب الدُّرر.
القسم الثاني: قسم التّحقيق، ويشتمل على النّصّ المحقّق، من بداية قوله: (فرع في حمل الميّت قبل دفنه وبعده) من باب الجنائز، إلى نهاية قوله: (وفي أوَّل إرخاء السُّتور؛ أنها مُخيّرةٌ بين أخْذِه بجميع الصَّداق أو بنصفه) من كتاب النّكاح، ثم ختمت الكتاب؛ بوضع الفهارس العلميَّة.

The importance of the book:
1-The author’s scholarly standing and the majesty of his worth in the Maliki school of thought. Sheikh Sharaf al-Din al-Takhaykhi is considered one of the most prominent Maliki scholars of his time.
2-It is a brief book, as it clarifies some of the issues of the text in clear terms, without disruptive abbreviation or boring redundancy.
Methodology for investigating the book:
In writing this book, I relied on three versions:
The first: It is the original, a copy of the Leiden Library in the Netherlands.
Second: For the interview: a copy of the National Book House in Tunisia.
Third: For interview: a copy of the Al-Azhar Library in Egypt.
Division of studying the book:
The study was divided into an introduction, two sections, and technical indexes, and their explanation is as follows:
The first section: the study section, which includes four main sections: The first topic: introducing the author of the summary. The second topic: Introduction to the book Al-Mukhtasar. The third topic: introducing the author of Durar. Fourth topic: Introduction to the Book of Pearls.
The second section: the verification section, and it includes the verified text, from the beginning of his saying: (a branch of carrying the dead before and after his burial) from the chapter on funerals, to the end of his saying: (and at the beginning of the relaxation of the curtains; she is given the choice between taking him with all of the dowry or half of it) from the Book of Marriage Then I concluded the book; By developing scientific indexes.
