موضوع البحث: جمع استدراكات الإمام العجلي الأصولية في الحكم الشرعي ودلالات الألفاظ , ودراسة تلك الاستدراكات ومناقشتها وبيان الراجح فيها, وانتهج الباحث دراسة استقرائية تحليلية لدراسة المسائل.
وقد جاء تقسيم الرسالة إلى مقدمة, وتمهيد, وخمسة أبواب, وخاتمة وفهارس علمية, وأما المقدمة فقد تضمنت الافتتاحية, وأهمية الموضوع وأسباب اختياره , وحدود البحث, وخطة البحث, والمنهج المتبع.
وأما التمهيد فقد تضمن الترجمة للعجلي : اسمه ونسبه ولادته ووفاته, ونشأته وطلبه للعلم , وشيوخه وتلاميذه , وثناء العلماء عليه ومؤلفاته, والتعريف بالاستدراكات الأصولية لغة واصطلاحاً وحكم الاستدراك, وأغراض الاستدراك عند الأصوليين, وأساليب الاستدراك عند الأصوليين, والباب الأول يتعلق بالحكم الشرعي وتم تقسيمه إلى فصلين : الاول في الحكم الشرعي, والثاني في الحكم التكليفي, والباب الثاني يتعلق بدلالات الألفاظ وفيه فصل واحد وهو استدراكات العجلي في اللغات, والباب الثالث يتعلق بالأمر والنهي وفيه ثلاثة فصول: الأول: استدراكاته في تعريف الأمر, والثاني: في دلالة الأمر, والثالث: استدراكاته في النهي, والباب الرابع يتعلق بالعموم والخصوص وفيه فصلان: الأول: استدراكات العجلي في دلالة العموم, والثاني: في دلالة الخصوص, والباب الخامس يتعلق بدلالة المطلق والمقيد, ودلالة اللفظ من حيث الظهور والخفاء وفيه فصلان, الأول: استدراكاته في المطلق والمقيد, والثاني: في دلالة الفظ من حيث الظهور والخفاء, والخاتمة ففيها النتائج والتوصيات, وفهارس علمية على النحو التالي: فهرس الآيات, والأحاديث, والآثار, والأعلام, والمصطلحات والكلمات الغريبة, والمصادر والمراجع, والموضوعات.
من أهم النتائج : إن الإمام العجلي كان ذا مكانة علمية, إن استدراكاته لم تكن على منوال واحد بل استدرك على التعريفات, والاختيارات, ونقل الأقوال عن أصحابها, والأدلة, والتمثيل , نقل الإجماع, وبلغ عدد العبارات التي استدرك بها ثلاث وعشرون, وعدد العلماء الذي استدرك عليهم ثلاثة وعشرون.
Abstract: Title of research: Retractions of Imam Al-‘Ijlee Al-Asfahani on the Scholars of the Fundamentals of Islamic Jurisprudence, regarding the rulings of the Shari’ah and the semantics of words, through his book Al-Kashif ‘an Al-Mahsool fee 'Ilm Al-Usool: Collection and Study.
The subject of research: A collection of the Al-Ijlee's retractions in the science of the Fundamentals of Islamic Jurisprudence regarding the rulings of the Shari’ah and the semantics of words, and their study, discussing them and clarifying the correct view between them. The researcher adopted an inductive and analytical study to study the issues.
The preface includes the biography of Al-Ijlee: his name, his lineage, his birth and death, his origin, his knowledge, his teachers and his students, the scholar’s praise of him and his writings, the definition of the Scholars of the science of Fundamentals of Islamic Jurisprudence of retractions linguistically and terminologically, the ruling of retractions, the purposes of retractions of the Scholars of this Science, and the methods of retracting according to the Scholars of this Science, and the first chapter relates to the rulings of the Shari’ah and was divided into two chapters: the first is on the rulings of the Shari’ah, the second is on the rulings that relate to moral responsibility, and the second chapter is related to the semantics of the words, and it contains one chapter, which is the retractions of Al-Ijlee in the theory of languages. And the third chapter relates to the retractions in the command's concept and the prohibition, and it contains three chapters: the first: his retractions on the definition of the command, the second: the meaning of the command, and the third: his retractions on the prohibition, and the fourth chapter relates to the retractions in the concept of the general and the particular, and it has two chapters: the first is the retractions of the Al- Ijlee in the meaning of the general, the second: the specifics, and the fifth chapter is related to the retractions in the concept of the absolute and the restricted, and the meaning of the word in terms of appearance and concealment, and it has two chapters, the first: his retractions in the absolute and restricted, and the second: his retractions of the pronunciation in terms of the utterance in terms of appearance and concealment, and the conclusion contains the results and recommendations, and scientific indexes: index of verses, prophetic traditions, collection of traditions, names, foreign terms and words, sources and references, and topics.
Prominent findings of the research: Imam Al-Ijlee was of a scholarly standing, for his rectifications were not in a single fashion, but based on various issues such as definitions, preferences, and transmitting individual viewpoints, evidence, representation, conveying of consensus, and the number of retractions that he made in this subject area reached twenty- three, on twenty-three different scholars.
