منهج التحقيق: قام الباحث بتحقيق نصّ الكتاب وفق قواعد المنهج العلميّ المتّبع في تحقيق كتب التراث، معتمدًا على نسختين خطّيّتين:
النسخة الأولى: محفوظة في مكتبة قره مصطفى باشا "المركز الحكومي" في مدينة اسطنبول التركية، بها نقص يسير من آخرها يقدر بلوحة أو أقل؛ حيث تنتهي بآخر فرش حروف سورة الفجر، وقد اتخذت هذه النسخة أصلًا. النسخة الثانية: تحتفظ بها المكتبة الوطنية الفرنسية بباريس، وهي قطعة من كتاب الغاية تشتمل على جملة من أبواب الأصول، من أوّل (ذكر مخارج الحروف) حتى آخر (ذكر سجدات التلاوة)، وقد اعتمدت هذه النسخة في المقابلة، ورمزت لها بالحرف (ب).

القسم الثاني: النصّ المحقّق، ويتضمن تحقيق المخطوط كاملًا، ثم ذيلت البحث بفهارس بيانيّة.
Abstract: Research topic: "ALGHAYA", dictated by Al-Bayhaqi through Ibn Mihran, in which he mentioned the ten recitations and the choice of Abu Hatim al-Sijistani, may Allah have mercy on him, the research includes origins and branches.
Method of investigation: The researcher investigated the text of the book according to the rules of the scientific method used in investigating heritage books, relying on two written copies:
First copy: It is kept in the Qurra Mustafa Pasha Library, "the governmental center" in the Turkish city of Istanbul, with a minimal shortage at the end estimated to be one or less leaflet; Where it ends with the last letters of Surat Al-Fajr, and this copy was regarded as the original. The second copy: It is kept by the French National Library in Paris, and it is a piece of Alghaya book that includes a number of chapters on the origins, From the beginning (mentioning the organs of speech) to the end of (mentioning the prostrations of recitation), this copy was adopted in the comparison, and it was symbolized by the letter (B).
