المستخلص: قسم الباحث الرسالة إلى مقدمة وقسمين وخاتمة. المقدمة: بين فيها أهمية الموضوع وأسباب اختياره، وخطته ومنهج التحقيق. القسم الأول: قسم الدراسة، قدم فيه دراسة موجزة عن المؤلف من خلال حياته الشخصية والعلمية، ودراسة أخرى عن الكتاب من خلال توثيق اسم الكتاب وبيان قيمته العلمية وسبب تأليفه ومنهج المؤلف فيه، ومصادره، ثووصف النسخ الخطية للكتاب. والقسم الثاني: قسم التحقيق واشتمل على نص الكتاب المحقق، وهو تحقيق كامل لنص الكتاب. الخاتمة: ذكر فيها أهم النتائج.

Abstract: The thesis is intended to provide an investigation for the book of Marsum Khad Al-Mushaf by Imam Isma'il bin Zafir bin Abdullah Al-Uqaili (died 623H). It is one of the significant treatises on demonstrating the script of the Quran according to which ʽUthman (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote the copies he sent to the Muslim territories. The thesis consisted of an introduction and two sections. The first section discussed the topic, reasons for its selection, its aims, literature review, its plan and methodology. It further discussed the biography of Imam Isma'il bin Zafir bin Abdullah Al-Uqaili (died 623H). The second section provided an investigation of the manuscript of Marsum Khad Al-Mushaf. This part included investigation of the manuscript of the whole book.
