3- ظهر التّصنيف فيها في أزمنة متفاوتة، وبدأ منذ فترة مبكرة.
Abstract: • Highlighting the efforts of the Muhadditheen and their care placed in authoring about knowing the names of the narrators, and differentiating between them.
• Methodology of Research: Descriptive Analysis.

1. The Muhaddithoon have expounded praiseworthy efforts in undertaking the knowing of the names of the narrators, and differentiating between them, this is clear in various forms:
a. Collecting their names and lineages, and recording them.
b. Vocalization of these names, differentiating between them, writing biographies on these narrators, as well as various books on all of these.
c. Singling them out under various sections in the books on the Sciences of Hadeeth.
2. The importance of knowing the names of the narrators, differentiating between them, and their numerous benefits.
3. The authoring of these books appeared in various times, the first of which was at during an early period.
