المستخلص: تناولت الدراسة مراحل تطور القانون البحري بالإضافة للأحكام المتعلقة بالنظام القانوني لكل مساحة من المساحات البحرية التي حددتها اتفاقية جنيف لعام 1982م حول قانون البحار، والتي تشمل المياه الداخلية والبحر الإقليمي والمنطقة المجاورة أو المتاخمة بالإضافة إلي المنطقة الاقتصادية والجرف القاري وأعالي البحار والإلمام بكل الجوانب القانونية لكل مساحة من هذه المساحات البحرية من حيث امتدادها وحقوق وواجبات الدول الساحلية والغير ساحلية عليها . وكانت أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث أنها حددت اتفاقية جنيف للأمم المتحدة لعام 1982م التقسيمات المختلفة للمساحات البحرية فيما تتعلق لأحكام القانون البحري الدولي، حددت اتفاقية جنيف لعام 1982م الجوانب القانونية لكل مساحة من المساحات البحرية من حيث امتدادها وحقوق وواجبات الدول الساحلية والغير ساحلية ، كما توصي الدراسة بضرورة تبني جهات الاختصاص العليا تطبيق اتفاقية جنيف لعام 1982م للقانون البحري الدولي مع أهمية التنسيق بين الجهات ذات الاختصاص لترسيم خط الأساس للساحل وفقاً للمعايير المطلوبة دولياً ومتابعة اعتماده من السلطات المعنية تمهيداً للاعتراف الدولي.
Abstract: The study dealt with the stages of the development of maritime law in addition to the provisions relating to the legal system of each of the marine areas set out by the Geneva Convention of 1982 on the law of the sea, which includes inland waters, the territorial sea and the adjacent or adjacent area in addition to the area Economic, continental shelf and high seas and familiarity with all legal aspects of each of these marine areas in terms of their extension and the rights and duties of coastal and landlocked states. The most important findings of the researcher was that it defined the Geneva Convention of the United Nations of 1982 different divisions of marine areas with regard to the provisions of international maritime law, the Geneva Convention of 1982 defined the legal aspects of each area of the marine area in terms of its extension and rights The study also recommends that the highest jurisdictions should adopt the application of the Geneva Convention of 1982 to international maritime law, with the importance of coordination between competent authorities to demarcate the baseline of the coast in accordance with the internationally requested standards and follow up its adoption by the authorities.
