المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن فاعلية تدريس العلوم باستخدام دورتي التعلم الخماسية (5Es) والسباعية 7Es)) في تنمية مهارات عمليات العلم، وبعض عادات العقل لدى تلاميذ الصف الأول المتوسط، ولتحقيق هدف البحث استخدام الباحث المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (102) طالبًا، حيث بلغت المجموعة التجريبية الأولى (34)، والتجريبية الثانية (36)، والضابطة (32). وتم بناء أداتين: اختبار مهارات عمليات العلم، ومقياس عادات العقل، ومن أبرز نتائج البحث: وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات القياسين القبلي والبعدي للمجموعة التجريبية الأولى التي درست باستراتيجية دورة التعلم الخماسية، والتجريبية الثانية التي درست باستراتيجية دورة التعلم السباعية في مهارات عمليات العلم لصالح القياس البعدي. وكذلك وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات القياسين القبلي والبعدي للمجموعة التجريبية الأولى في بعض عادات العقل لصالح القياس البعدي، بينما لا توجد في المجموعة التجريبية الثانية لبعض عادات العقل. كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين مجموعات الدراسة الثلاث في مهارات عمليات العلم، وبعض عادات العقل بعد تطبيق استراتيجيتي التدريس لصالح المجموعتين التجريبيتين.

Abstract: The research aimed at exploring The Effectiveness of Teaching Science Using the 5ES and 7Es Learning Cycles in The Development of the Skills of The Science Processes and Some Habits of Mind among the First-grade Intermediate Students. To achieve this aim, the researcher used the quasi experimental method. The research sample consisted of 102 students, where the first experimental group consisted of (34), the second (36) and the control (32). Two tools were constructed: the skills of the science processes ’test and the measure of habits of mind. The results of the research indicated the presence of significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the first experimental group, which studied the strategy of the five- learning cycle and the second experimental group of the seven-cycle learning strategy of the skills of the science processes for the benefit of the post measurement. There was also the presence of significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the first experimental group in some habits of mind for the benefit of the post measurement, while they are not present in the second experimental group for some habits of mind. There were also statistically significant differences between the three groups of the research in the skills of the science processes and some habits of mind after the implementation of the teaching strategies for the two experimental groups.
