المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح المنهج الذي سار الملوك الثلاثة الأُوَل من بعد المؤسس وهم : سعود، وفيصل، وخالد (1373- 1402هـ / 1952 – 1982م) منذ تسلموا مقاليد الأمور في المملكة العربية السعودية في الإشراف على مواسم الحج وخدمة ضيوف الرحمن، وذلك بقيادتهم للمواسم وإشرافهم بأنفسهم على الترتيبات والتجهيزات ومتابعتهم لها من غسل الكعبة المشرفة استعداداً لاستقبال الحجاج وحتى إتمام الموسم ،من خلال ما رصدته جريدة أم القرى الجريدة الرسمية للمملكة . وفق المنهج التاريخي للتسلسل الزمنى للمواسم السنوية خلال تلك الفترة مع تحليل النصوص الواردة في الصحيفة المذكورة. وقد توصل البحث إلى تحديد أهم الأعمال التي كانوا يقومون بها بأنفسهم عند قيادة الحجيج ومتابعة شؤونهم غسل الكعبة المشرفة، واستقبال الوفود الرسمية ورؤساء بعثات الحج، وإلقاء الخطب والكلمات في المواسم الحج عند استقبال الوفود أو توديعهم وفي عرفات. ونظراً لما قد يطرأ عليهم من ظروف، فقد احتاجوا إلى من يعاونهم فأنابوا عنهم من يخلفهم في الإشراف على الموسم في بعض السنوات أو من يتحمل شيئاً من أعبائه ومهامه حتى في حضور الملك. وأخيراً أوصي الباحثين والدارسين في تاريخ المملكة العربية السعودية وتاريخ الحج والحرمين تتبع هذه الجهود وتدوينها وإبراز ما قام به هؤلاء الملوك في خدمة الحج والحرمين الشريفين.

Abstract: This research aims to clarify the approach that followed the first three kings after the founder, namely: Saud, Faisal, and Khalid (1373-1402 AH / 1952-1982 CE) since they took over the reins of affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supervising the seasons of Hajj and serving the guests of Rahman, by leading the seasons. And their own supervision of the arrangements and equipment and their follow-up on them from washing the Holy Kaaba in preparation for receiving pilgrims until the completion of the season, through what was monitored by Umm Al-Qura newspaper, the official newspaper of the Kingdom According to the historical methodology of the chronology of the annual seasons during that period with an analysis of the texts contained in the mentioned newspaper. The research found the most important actions that they used to do on their own when leading the pilgrims and following their affairs, washing the Holy Kaaba, receiving official delegations and heads of Hajj missions, and giving speeches and speeches during the Hajj seasons when receiving delegations or bidding farewell and at Arafat. In view of the circumstances that may arise from them, they needed someone to help them and deputized for them whoever succeeded them in supervising the season in some years or who would bear some of his burdens and tasks even in the presence of the king. Finally, I recommend researchers and scholars in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the history of the Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques to follow these efforts, write them down and highlight what these kings did in the service of the Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques.
