المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن واقع برامج الدراسات العليا من وجهة نظر المعلمين بمدينة ينبع واتجاهاتهم نحوها، ولتحقيق ذلك أعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، واستخدم أداة الاستبانة لجمع المعلومات، وقد بلغت العينة في صورتها النهائية (200) معلماً، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج، أبرزها: ثمثلت أبرز الجوانب المعبرة عن الاتجاهات الإيجابية لدى المعلمين، وتفيد على المستوى الشخصي، وتنمي شخصية الباحث لمعالجة المشكلات التربوية، وتمثلت أقل الجوانب المعبرة عن الاتجاهات حيث أبدوا موافقتهم عليها بدرجة ضعيفة في كون شروط وضوابط الإيفاد منطقية وحصول المعلم على القبول ببرامج الدراسات العليا أمر متاح والمقاعد المخصصة للإيفاد لمواصلة الدراسة كافية.
Abstract: Purpose of the study : The study aims to achieve the following: 1. To reveal the reality of graduation programs from the viewpoint of teachers in Yanbu and their attitudes towards them 2 - Reveals the significance of statistical differences in the reality of higher programs from the point of view of teachers attributed to the difference (educational qualification, stage, years of experience in education profession, and enrollment in Higher studies). The researcher used the descriptive method. Study Group : The study group consists of all teachers of general education in Yanbu in the academic year 1439 AH / 1440 AH. The study tool was applied to a random stratified sample of teachers. The final sample reached (200) teachers. Study results : The research found several results, including: 1 - There are positive trends among teachers of general education in Yanbu towards enrollment in higher studies programs, with a mean (3,67). And Standard Deviation (0.57) 2 - The most prominent aspects reflecting the positive attitudes of teachers in Yanbu City towards higher studies programs, the continuing of higher studies expands the educational awareness hoped, and that the continuing of post graduate studies benefit teachers at a personal level, and that the continuation of post graduat studies develop researcher to address the educational problem, higher studies programs lead to professional growth, and the continuation of post graduate studies gives way to leadership positions. 3 - The least aspects reflecting the tendencies of teachers in Yanbu City towards higher programs, which showed little agreement with them, that the conditions and controls of the scholarship to continue the study makes sense, and that the teacher to receive admission to higher programs is available and that the seats allocated to the delegation to continue the study is sufficient. 4 - There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0,05) between the mean of the study sample responses on the reality of continuing higher studies in teachers of general education schools in Yanbu and their attitudes towards them, due to the difference of scientific qualification. Masters. 5 - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the mean of the study sample responses on the reality of continuing higher studies in teachers of general education schools in Yanbu and their attitudes towards them, due to the different stage, years of experience, and variable enrollment. High. Based on the previous results, the researcher made a number of recommendations, the most prominent of which were: - Encourage teachers to join higher programs to develop their scientific and practical skills and expertise. - Facilitate the conditions and controls of the dispatch to continue higher studies for teachers. Performing seminars, workshops and lectures to explain the importance of higher Studies programs of teacher professional growth . - Opening parallel evening programs for higher studies in Saudi colleges and universities.
