يتناول البحث دراسةَ مقصدٍ عظيمٍ من مقاصد الدين الإسلامي الواردة في القرآن الكريم، وهو عناية الإسلام بالإنسان وسعيه لإخراجه من العبودية والرق إلى التحرُّر والعتق, وتتركَّز مادته على بيان مصادر العتق في الإسلام من خلال دراسة الآيات القرآنية.
أهداف البحث:
إبراز عناية الإسلام بالإنسان، وسعيه لإخراجه من العبودية والرق إلى التحرُّر والعتق, كما يهدف إلى التأكيد على هذا المقصد الإسلامي, ودفع شبهات أرباب الفتن ورد اتهامهم للإسلام بأنه دين الرق؛ وذلك مِن خلال دراسة الآيات القرآنية.
مشكلة البحث:
1- ما مفهوم العتق والرق؟ وما وجه اعتبار دين الإسلام دين عتقٍ لا دين رقٍّ؟
2- ما هي مصادر الرق في الجاهلية؟ وما موقف الإسلام منه؟
3- ما هي وسائل العتق ومصادره في الإسلام؟ وكيف تناولتها الآيات القرآنية؟
أهم نتائج البحث:
أنَّ الرقَّ كان موجودًا قبل الإسلام عند كثير من الأمم، ولم يبتدئه الإسلام أو ينشئه، بل جاء وهو نظام قائم، وواقع يتعامل به الناس, فوسَّعَ دائرة العتق وضيَّق دائرة الرِّقِّ وحصرها في مصدر واحد وهو القتال بسبب الكفر بالله جل وعلا ومحاربة دينه، كما ظهر للباحث أنَّ أكثر من ناقش شبهات أعداء الإسلام المثارة حول الرق هم المفسرون المعاصرون، ومن أبرزهم: الشيخ محمد رشيد رضا في تفسير المنار، والشيخ محمد الأمين الشنقيطي في أضواء البيان، والشيخ محمد متولي الشعراوي في تفسيره -رحمة الله عليهم أجمعين-.

Research topic:
This research deals with a study of a great aim of the purposes of the Islamic religion mentioned in the Noble Qur’an, which is Islam’s concern for the human being and its endeavour by all means and methods to bring him out of serfdom and slavery to liberation and emancipation. Its course focuses on explaining the sources of Liberation in Islam by studying the Qur’anic verses.
Research objectives:
Highlighting Islam’s concern for the human being, and its endeavor to get him out of serfdom and slavery into liberation and emancipation. It also aims to emphasize this Islamic intent, and to debunk the misconception of those who are tempted and accuse Islam of being a religion of slavery. This is done by studying the Qur’anic verses.
Research problem:
1- What is the concept of emancipation and slavery? What is the point of considering the religion of Islam as an emancipation religion and not a religion of slavery?
2- What are the sources of slavery during the ignorance period? What is Islam's position on it?
3- What are the means and sources of emancipation in Islam? How did the Quranic verses address them?
Most prominent results:
That slavery existed before Islam among many nations, and Islam did not initiate or establish it, but it is an existing system and a reality with which people deal, and narrowed the circle of slavery, as well as its sources and causes, but confined it to one source, which is disbelief in Allah - the Majestic and Exalted - and fighting his religion, It also emerged to the researcher that the contemporary commentators who most discussed the misconception raised by the enemies of Islam about slavery are the contemporary commentators among them are: Sheikh Muhammad Rashid Ridha in the interpretation of Al-Manar, and Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shinqeeti in his book Adhwaa Al-bayan, and Sheikh Muhammad Mutawally Al-Sha’arawi in his interpretation - may Allah have mercy on them all.
