الهدف العام للبحث:
إبراز أهمية الرسم العثماني، وإظهار المكانة العظيمة لمصحف عثمان الذي يقال له «الإمام» مع التعرف على الأئمة الأعلام الناقلين عنه، والوقوف على مصادرهم في ذلك.
منهج البحث: قسمت البحث إلى مقدمة، وتمهيد، ومبحثين، وخاتمة، وفهارس.
1- اتبعت المنهج الاستقرائي لجمع المرويات الواردة عن مصحف عثمان الإمام من مظانها من كتب الرسم والمصاحف والقراءات وغيرها، ثم المنهج التحليلي لدراسة تلك المرويات.
2- أثبت الآية المروية عن المصحف الإمام، مع كيفية رسمها فيه.
3- ذكرت الإمام الذي رويت عنه تلك الرواية، مع ذكر النّص الدال على روايته عن المصحف الإمام.
4- أوردتُ أقوال علماء الرسم في الروايات، ومدى موافقتها لما جاء عن المصحف الإمام.
أهم نتائج البحث:
1- الوقوف على مرسوم خط مصحف عثمان بنقل من شاهدها معاينة، أو نقلها رواية.
2- أهمية مصحف عثمان ، ووجوب اتباع رسمه، فقد كان النواة الأولى لنشأة علم مرسوم الخط.
3- تعدد الرواة الناقلين عن مصحف عثمان وتنوع مصادر مروياتهم، مما يدل على أهمية تلك المرويات وعناية العلماء بها.

Subject of the study:
"Narrations of the leading imams On the Mus'haf of Othman -may God be pleased with him- the imam - Collection and Study".
research aims:
1- Highlighting the importance of the Ottoman's calligraphy in which the Mus'haf al imam -Mus'haf of Othman was written.
2- Demonstrating the great status of Mu'haf of Othman by collecting narrations that show how its words are drawn, as seen in that Mus'haf or quoted from the advanced imams.
3- Identification of the leading imams who transmitted the Mus'haf of Othman al-Imam.
4- Study the sources of Qur’anic calligraphy science, and find out the sources that took care of the narrations on the Mus'haf of Othman.
Research Methodology:
1- I followed the inductive approach to collect the narrations received on the Mus'haf of Othman al-Imam from its sources, such as Qur’anic drawing books, Qur’anic readings books and others, and then the analytical method to study those narrations.
2- I mentioned the verse narrated from Othman’s Mus'haf, along with how it was drawn in it.
3- I mentioned the imam from whom that story was narrated, along with the text indicating his narration on the Imam’s Mus'haf.
4- I included the sayings of the scholars of the Qur’anic calligraphy in the narrations, and the extent of their agreement with what came about the Imam’s Mus'haf.
Main search results:
1- Knowledge of the Ottoman calligraphy by relying on the transmission of those who saw it with their own eyes, or those who reported it via quoting from others.
2- The importance of the Othman's calligraphy, and the necessity to follow its drawing, as it was the first nucleus for the emergence of the science of Qur’anic calligraphy.
3- The multiplicity of narrators who transmitted the Mus'haf of Othman, and the diversity of their sources of narrations, which indicates the importance of these narrations and the care of scholars about them.
