المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إخراج بحث موثق عن متنزهات أهل المدينة المنورة في القرنين الحادي عشر والثاني عشر الهجريين/ السابع عشر والثامن عشر الميلاديين (من خلال مشاهدات الرحالة المغاربة)، وتفتح نافذة جديدة على تاريخها الاجتماعي، تضاف إلى الدراسات الكثيرة عن التاريخ السياسي، في محاولة لرسم صورة قريبة من الواقعية عن المجتمع المدني في الماضي لاستعادة عبق التاريخ والوقوف على جذور الأعراف والتقاليد المدَنِيَّة الأصيلة التي ورثها الأحفاد عن الأجداد. وقد اعتمدت على المنهج التاريخي في ترتيب الأحداث، والمنهج التحليلي؛ لاستقراء وتحليل نصوص المصادر ونقدها قبل الإفادة من مادتها، والمنهج الوصفي؛ لوصف المتنزهات وتحديد أماكنها وأوقات التنزه. وأهم نتائج هذه الدراسة اكتشاف متنزهات أهل المدينة المنورة في العصر العثماني وتحديدها، ووصف ما اشتملت عليه من مرافق وخدمات عامة، وهي: المتنزهات الجبلية، ومتنزهات الحدائق العامة والبساتين الخاصة، متنزهات الأودية، ومن النتائج أيضاً الوقوف على أخلاق أهل المدينة وعوائدهم في التنزه.

Abstract: This study aims to produce documented research on the parks of the people of Madinah In the eleventh and twelfth centuries A.H / seventeenth and eighteenth centuries A.D (through the observations of Moroccan travellers). And it opens a new window on its social history, to be added to the many studies on political history, and it opens a new window on social history, which is added to the many studies on political history, in an attempt to paint a picture close to realism about civil society in the past to restore the fragrance of history and to stand on the roots of the original civil norms and traditions that the grandchildren inherited from their grandparents. It relied on the historical method for arranging events and the analytical method; To extrapolate, analyze and critique the sources' texts before benefiting from their material and the descriptive method. To describe parks, locate them, and when to hike. The most important results of this study are the discovery and identification of the parks of the people of Madinah in the Uthman era and their identification and a description of what they included in terms of public facilities and services, which are: mountain parks, public parks, private orchards, valley parks, and among the results also stand up the morals and returns of the people of Madinah in hiking.
