المستخلص: تتناول هذه الدراسة تعريفاً موجزاً بنماذج من القيادات السياسية والعسكرية في الدولة الأموية، وعرضاً للأحداث التي أدت إلى الإطاحة بهم، ومناقشة الأسباب مناقشةً موضوعيةً، مع تحليل ونقد بعض الروايات والآراء، محاولاً فهم الأحداث التي سبقت الإطاحة بهم ومن ثم التعرض للأسباب. وقد قسمت ذلك على حسب الأحداث السياسية والاقتصادية والمواقف الشخصية، فجعلت لكل مبحث ما بين ثلاثة إلى أربعة نماذج من القيادات على المستوى الأول والثاني والثالث. ويهدف البحث إلى بيان الأحداث التي تعرض لها القادة في الدولة الأموية وكشف أسبابها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية. وقد اتبعت في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وخلصت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج والتوصيات ومنها مايلي: 1ـ أن الإطاحة ببعض القيادات البارزة كان نتيجة تقديرات خاطئة . 2ـ أن الإطاحة بالقيادات في العصر الأموي كانت لا تخرج عن الإطار السياسي أو الاقتصادي أو الخلافات الشخصية. ويوصي الباحث بدراسة موضوع الإطاحة بالقيادات في الدولة الأموية في دراسة مستقلة في الماجستير أو الدكتوراه.

Abstract: This study deals with a brief definition of models of political and military leaders in the Umayyad state, a presentation of the events that led to their overthrow, an objective discussion of the causes, analysis and criticism of some accounts and opinions, trying to understand the events that preceded their overthrow and then discuss the causes. It has divided this according to the political and economic events and personal positions, making for each topic between three to four models of leadership at the first, second and third levels The research aims to clarify the events that the leaders of the Umayyad state were exposed to and to uncover their political, economic and social causes. The descriptive and analytical approach was followed in this study. The study concluded with some findings and recommendations, including the following: 1- The overthrow of some prominent leaders was the result of wrong estimates. 2- The overthrow of leaderships in the Umayyad era was not outside the political or economic framework or personal differences. The researcher recommends studying the topic of overthrowing leaderships in the Umayyad state in an independent study for masters or doctorates.
