المستخلص: عُنيت هذه الدراسة بتتبع المصطلحات في أحد أهم الأنظمة العدلية، وأكثرها تداولاً، وارتباطاً بالحياة الاجتماعية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وهو نظام الأحوال الشخصية، بهدف الوقوف على هذه المصطلحات، وتسهيل الرجوع إليها، وبيان دلالتها اللغوية والاصطلاحية، وتوضيح وشرح هذه الدلالات، وقام الباحث بتتبع المصطلحات في هذا النظام وترتيبها وفق الترتيب الألفبائي (أ-ب- ت-)، وبيان مواضع ذكرها في النظام؛ وقامت الدراسة كذلك بتتبع هذه المصطلحات في المعاجم اللغوية القديمة والمعاصرة؛ لتوضيح دلالتها اللغوية، والوقوف على المفهوم العام الذي تندرج تحته، وكذلك بيان ملامح من دلالة المصطلح محل الدراسة، في محاولة لتعريف القارئ بهذه المصطلحات ومساعدته على فهمها وتصورها والوقوف على مواضع ذكرها في النظام، وخرجت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج والتوصيات منها: أهمية الدراسات البينية بين اللغة والأنظمة، ومكانة نظام الأحوال الشخصية، وارتباطه بالمجتمع، وأن مصطلح الزواج هو أكثر المصطلحات تداولاً في نظام الأحوال الشخصية، وأن هناك مصطلحات ذكرت مرة واحدة في نظام الأحوال الشخصية مثل: الكفاءة، والكناية والطبقة، والمعضولة، وأن نظام الأحوال الشخصية استخدم المصطلحات العلمية الحديثة في خدمة المجتمع مثل نتائج فحوصات الحمض النووي.
Abstract: This study is concerned with tracing the terminologies in one of the most important and widely used judicial systems and related to social life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the personal status system. The researcher traced the terminologies in this system and arranged them in an alphabetical order (A-B-C-) and indicated the places in which they were mentioned in the system to make it easier for the beneficiary to refer to it when needed. The study also traced these terminologies in ancient and contemporary linguistic dictionaries to explain its linguistic connotations, identify the general concept under which it falls, as well as to explain features of the meaning of the terminologies under study, to familiarize the reader with these terminologies, help him understand and visualize them, and identify the places they are mentioned in the system. The study yielded several findings, including: The importance of interdisciplinary studies between language and law. The status of the personal status system, and its connection to society. The term marriage is the most used term in the personal status system. There are terms mentioned once in the Personal Status Law, such as: competence, metaphor, class, and the objectionable. The personal status system used modern scientific terminologies in serving the community, such as DNA test results.
