تناولت الدراسة أحد أشهر الدعوات إلى إصلاح متن اللغة -وهي الدعوة التي طرحها الأستاذ أحمد أمين على مجمع اللغة العربية بالقاهرة- بالوصف والتحليل في محاولة لفهم أبعاد هذه الدعوة وتوضيحها أمام القراء والباحثين، والوقوف على آثارها الإيجابية ومخاطرها المتوقعة، وخرجت بمقدمة وثلاثة مباحث رئيسة هي: التعريف بالدعوة إلى إصلاح متن اللغة ومسوغاتها وآلياتها، والآثار الإيجابية للدعوة إلى إصلاح متن اللغة، والمخاطر المتوقعة للدعوة إلى إصلاح متن اللغة. ووقفت الدراسة على عدد من النتائج منها: تعد دعوة الأستاذ أحمد أمين من أهم الدعوات إلى إصلاح متن اللغة، من حيث قوتها العلمية، وما حظيت به من نقاش وحوار حولها، وهذه الدعوة ليست بدعاً في بابها، فهناك دعوات للإصلاح والتطوير في المجالات النحوية والصرفية والإملائية، ومن أهم الآثار الإيجابية للدعوة إلى إصلاح متن اللغة: المحافظة على اللغة، وتطوير اللغة وإثراؤها من خلال معالجة جوانب القصور فيها، وتسهيل تعلم اللغة العربية واكتسابها، وتسهيل البحث في مفردات اللغة، وهناك مخاطر متوقعة للدعوة إلى إصلاح متن اللغة منها: أن بعض جوانب تطوير اللغة قد تكون أمراضاً تهدد سلامة اللغة وتنذر بموتها، وأن بعض التطور قد يبطل استعمالاً شائعاً في النصوص الفصيحة، وأن التطور غير المنضبط قد يخالف مقاييس العرب وسننها في كلامها، وأن بعض التطور قد يسهم في انقطاع الأمة عن تاريخها الشرعي والحضاري والثقافي.

Title: Call to reform the language text - a study in its justifications and its positive effects and expected risks.
The study dealt with one of the most famous calls for reforming the language text - the call made by Professor Ahmed Amin to The Academy of The Arabic Language in Cairo - by describing and analyzing, in an attempt to understand the dimensions of this call and clarify it to readers and researchers, and to identify its positive effects and expected risks. The study came out in an introduction and three main topics: the definition of the call for reforming the language text, its justifications and mechanisms, the positive effects of the call for reforming the language text, and the expected risks of the call for reforming the language text. The study based on a number of results, including: The call of Mr. Ahmed Amin is one of the most important calls for reforming the language text, in terms of its scientific strength, and the discussion and dialogue about it. This call is not a novelty in its section, there are calls for reform and development in the grammatical, morphological and spelling fields, and one of the most important positive effects of the call for reforming the language text: preserving the language, developing the language and enriching it by addressing its deficiencies, facilitating the learning and acquisition of the Arabic language, and facilitating research in the vocabulary of the language. There are expected risks to call for reform of the language text, including: that some aspects of language development may be diseases that threaten the integrity of the language and portend its death, and that some development may invalidate a common use in eloquent texts, that uncontrolled development may violate the standards of the Arabs and their traditions in their speech, and that some development may contribute to a break from the nation's legitimate, civilizational and cultural history.
