المستخلص: ملخص الدراسة: هدف الدراسة: التعرف على دور التخطيط الاستراتيجي على مستوى المدرسة في تطوير الأداء المدرسي في مجالات (العملية الإدارية، البيئة التعليمية، وأداء موظفي المدرسة) من وجهة نظر القادة التربويين في مدينة مكة، ومدى وجود فروق في تقييم هذا الدور بسبب بعض المتغيرات. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتألف مجتمع الدراسة من (96) قائد تربوي من إدارة التعليم، مكاتب التعليم، ومديري المدارس الثانوية في مدينة مكة. استخدمت الدراسة المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، واختبار (ت)، واختبار (ف) لتحليل البيانات وتحديد مدى الفروق بناءً على متغيرات الدراسة. وجدت الدراسة أن القادة التربويين يقدرون بشكل كبير دور التخطيط الاستراتيجي في تعزيز الأداء المدرسي، خصوصًا في العمليات الإدارية، والبيئة التعليمية، وأداء الموظفين. لوحظت فروق كبيرة في التصورات بين المشاركين بشأن تأثير التخطيط الاستراتيجي على الأداء المدرسي العام ومجالات محددة مثل الإدارة، البيئة، وأداء الموظفين الأفراد، متأثرةً بالأدوار الوظيفية الحالية بدلاً من المؤهلات الأكاديمية أو سنوات الخبرة الإدارية. التوصيات: إنشاء خطط استراتيجية مخصصة لقادة المدارس، وتعزيز المشاركة الأكبر في اتخاذ القرارات، وتطوير علاقات بينية أفضل، وإنشاء آليات لمعالجة التحديات المدرسية بفعالية. ينبغي أن تركز البرامج التدريبية على التخطيط الاستراتيجي لجميع موظفي المدرسة، وتعزيز التطوير المهني المستمر وتحسين المهارات الإدارية والتنظيمية، ويفضل تنفيذها على مستوى المدرسة لتحقيق أقصى فعالية.

Abstract: Abstract The goal of the study: to identify the role of strategic planning at the school level in developing school performance in the areas of (the administrative process, the educational environment, and the performance of school employees) from the point of view of educational leaders in the city of Mecca, and the extent to which there are differences in the assessment of this role due to some variables. The study followed the descriptive survey method, and the study population consisted of (96) educational leaders from the Education Department, education offices, and secondary school principals in the city of Mecca. The study used arithmetic means, standard deviations, t-test, and F-test to analyze the data and identify the extent of differences depending on the variables of the study. The study found that educational leaders highly value strategic planning's role in enhancing school performance, particularly in administrative processes, educational environment, and staff performance. Significant differences were noted in perceptions among participants regarding the impact of strategic planning on overall school performance and specific areas like administration, environment, and individual employee performance, influenced by current job roles rather than academic qualifications or years of management experience. Recommendations include creating tailored strategic plans for school leaders, fostering greater participation in decision-making, nurturing better interpersonal relations, and establishing mechanisms to proactively address school challenges. Training programs should focus on strategic planning for all school staff, promoting continuous professional development and enhancing administrative and organizational skills, ideally implemented at the school level for maximum effectiveness
