المستخلص: في هذا البحث دراسة لمسألة عقدية مهمة، وهي حكم الشهادة لمعين من أهل الصلاح والتقى أنه من أهل الجنة، هل يجوز ذلك أم لا؟ ويبين أقوال العلماء في المسألة والأدلة على ذلك من الكتاب والسنة مع تحرير الخلاف والترجيح بين الأقوال. وقد جاء البحث في قسمين: القسم الأول في دراسة المسألة وأقوال العلماء فيها والترجيح بين الأقوال، كما يحتوي هذا القسم على ترجمةٍ للحافظ عبد الغني المقدسي رحمه الله المتوفى عام (600هـ) وعلى التعريف بالمخطوط المراد تحقيقه، وإثبات صحة نسبته للحافظ عبد الغني. واشتمل القسم الثاني على النص المحقق، وهو مخطوطة بخط الحافظ عبد الغني المقدسي رحمه الله إجابة على سؤال وجه إليه إثر خلاف بين رجلين منتسبين للعلم، اختلفا هل يحكم للأئمة الأربعة بالجنة أم لا؟ فأجاب رحمه الله جواباً مدعَّما بالأدلة قاطعاً للخلاف لمن أراد الحق. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى هدف رئيس، وهو بيان الحق في مسألة من مسائل علم العقيدة، وهي مسألة الشهادة لمعين بالجنة والنار. وخلص البحث إلى أنه لا تجوز الشهادة لمعين بالجنة أو النار إلا إذا ورد النص بذلك من الكتاب أو من السنة الصحيحة، وهذا ماتكاثرت به أقوال العلماء وضمَّنوه عقائدهم.

Abstract: In this research, a very important issue related to Islamic creed has been studied and that is the Islamic ruling about testifying a certain person among the righteous and pious people and declaring him as one of the people of paradise. Is it permissible in islam or not ? This research explains the sayings of scholars and evidences from Quran and Sunnah about this issue while solving the disagreement and preferring the right opinion among the sayings. The research is in two sections. First section is about studying the issue and sayings of scholars about it and preference among the sayings. This section also includes the introduction to Hafiz Abdul Ghani Al-maqdsi (died in 600 hijri) and introduction to the manuscript that is aimed to be researched and proof of its attribution to Hafiz Abdul Ghani. The second section contains the verified text and that is the handwritten manuscript by Hafiz Abdul Ghani Al- maqdisi in which he answers the question asked to him about the disagreement among two of the people of knowledge, who disagreed on an issue “ Can four imams be declared as the people of paradise or not” ? So, he answered with conclusive evidences that can solve the conflict for those who want to know the right opinion. The main objective of this research is to explain the truth about one of issues of Islamic creed and that is to testify a certain person as a person of heaven or hell. This research concluded that it is not allowed in islam to testify a certain person as belonging to heaven or hell except when a textual evidence from Quran and authentic Sunnah exists. And this conclusion is preferred by the sayings of scholars and that is what they believed.
