المستخلص: البحث يتعرض بالدراسة والتحليل للهواتف والمنامات المذكورة في ترجمة الإمام حَمْزَة بن حبيب الزَّيَّات، وأكثرها منقول في كتب القراءات وتراجم رواة الحديث، وطبقات النحاة، وتوصَّلَتْ الدراسة إلى أنه في مبحث الهواتف لم يصح سندًا عن الإمام حَمْزَة شيء في سماعه للهواتف، أو لقائه بالجِنّ، وإن كان هذا الأمر جائزًا عقلًا وشرعًا غير ممتنع؛ فقد يَختص الله سبحانه بعض عباده بما لم يختص به من سبقهم في الفضل والمنزلة. أما في مبحث المنامات فتبيَّن أنَّه لم يصح منها إلا ما ذكره الإمام مسلم في مقدمته لصحيحه من طريق سُوَيْد بن سعيد، عن عليّ بن مُسْهِر، في عرض الإمام حَمْزَة حديث "أَبَانَ بن أبي عَيَّاش" على النبي، وقد جرى توجيهه في موضعه، كما يمشى ما رواه الكسائي الصغير عن شيخه في منام منزلة الإمام حمزة  في الجنة، أما باقي الرؤى والمنامات فلم تصح سندًا.

Abstract: The research studied and analysed the hallucinations (al-hawātif) and the dreams (al-manāmāt) that were mentioned in the biography of al-Imām Ḥamzah bin Ḥabīb al-Ziyyāt, most of which were referenced from the books of Qur’an recitations and the biographies of the narrators of hadith, and the Ṭabaqāt (graded biographies) of the grammarians. The study concluded in the part related to the hallucinations that judging by their chain of narration, none of them can be authentically ascribed to al-Imām Ḥamzah that he truly heard those hallucinations, or that he met a jinn, even though such incident is acceptable and possible logically and in the Shari’ah, as Almighty Allaah may grace one of his servants with such a peculiar act that are not known to those that had preceded him in honour and position. As for the part related to the dreams, it was discovered that none of them can be authentically ascribed to him except for the one mentioned by Imām Muslim in the introduction of his Ṣaḥīḥ narrated from Suwayd bin Sa’īd, from ‘Alī bin Mushir, on Imām Ḥamzah’s presentation of the ḥadīth of “Abān bin Abī ‘Iyāsh” to the Prophet –peace and blessing upon him-, and it has been interpreted in the appropriate place, but as for the remaining dreams, they are not authentic judging from their chain of narration. He also walks what al-Kisa'i al-Saghir narrated from his sheikh in a dream of Imam Hamza's status in Paradise, while the rest of the visions and dreams were not valid as a support.
