Abstract: ABSTRACT Presentation and Study of Al-Rudhbari's methodology in his selections in the modes of recitation in his book "Jaami’ Al-qira’aat" Research Topic and Objectives: This research highlights the methodology of Imam Al-Rudhbari in presenting the recitation and selection, its reasons, and its formulas. The research also aims to find a sample of his selections in the modes of recitation, giving the reader a historical overview of the selection owners in the fifth century AH. Research Plan: Preamble: It contains two demands: The first demand: Biography of Imam Al-Rudhbari. The second demand: Introducing the book “Jami’ al-Qira’aat” and its most important advantages. The first topic: Selection, its definition, and its reasons according to Imam Al-Rudhbari. The second topic: his methodology in presenting modes of recitation and selecting. The third topic: the formulas of his selections in the modes of recitation. The fourth topic: examples of his selections in modes of recitation. Conclusion. The most important results: - Selection criteria according to Imam Al-Rudhbari, based on four things: Compatibility of the recitation’s with the qur’anic writing, the popularity of the recitation and the large number of people who read it, the narration from his scholars, and the strength of its linguistic aspect. - The Compliance of Al-Rudhbari, with the imams who preceded him in some selections. - Al-Rudhbari's concurrence, in the term selected by those who preceded him: such as Imam Al-Tabari, Ibn Jinni, Makki, and Al-Hudhali. The originality of the research: The scientific value of the research is shown by highlighting the approach of an imam among the imams of Qira’at (modes of recitation) in the fifth century AH in his selections in the modes of recitation, and he is Imam Al-Rudhbari via his book “Jaami’ Al-qira’aat”, which did not reach us other impacts of the author.
