المستخلص: هذا البحث تحقيق لجزء من كتاب معاني القرآن لأبي جعفر النحاس (ت:338هـ)، كان في عداد المفقود، قام الباحث بتحقيقه تحقيقاً علمياً، وصدر البحث بدراسة اشتملت على تعريف موجز بالنحاس، وكتابه معاني القرآن، ومنهجه في المقدار المحقق، وتوثيق نسبة النسخة الخطية للمؤلف، ووصف النسخة، وصور منها. وتظهر قيمة البحث من أصالة الكتاب، وقيمته العلمية، وتقدم مؤلفه، وما في النسخة من إضافة لم تر النور من قبل. ويوصي الباحث بجمع نسخ الكتاب الخطية، واستكمال أجزائه فما زال النقص لم يتم بعد، ويوصي بإعادة تحقيق الكتاب كاملا وفق النسخ المتاحة.

Abstract: This research is an editing of a part of the book titled: Ma'ānī al-Qur'ān (Meanings of the Qur'an) by Abū Ja’far Al-Naḥās (d. 949), which was erstwhile regarded missing. The researcher edited it in a scholarly manner, and the research was started with a study which includes a brief biography of Abū Ja’far Al-Naḥās and his book Ma'ānī al-Qur'ān, and his methodology in the edited part, and the authentication of attribution of the manuscript to the author, and the description of the copy, and its samples. The importance of this research is evident in the authenticity of the book, its academic value, the author’s being from an early era, and the new additions in this copy which are hitherto yet to be published. The researcher recommended the collection of manuscripts of the book, and the completion of its remaining parts, as the book remains incomplete. The researcher also recommends a re-editing of the book completely based on the available manuscripts.
