المستخلص: تناول هذا البحث لمحة عن انتقاء الشيوخ عند الأئمة، وعناية الإمام مالك بانتقاء الرواة، ثم دراسة نظرية تطبيقية للرواة الذين جاء عن الإمام مالك جرحهم وأخرج لهم مع ذلك في موطئه وعددهم أحد عشر راويا، واستقراء أحكامه عليهم ومقارنتها بأحكام غيره. وقد أجاب البحث عن سبب إخراج الإمام لهم في الموطأ مع الكلام فيهم. وتبين من خلال هذا البحث أن هؤلاء الرواة منهم من لم يثبت عن الإمام جرحه، ومنهم من تشدد فيه الإمام، أو أخرج له ثم ترك الرواية عنه، أو كان جرحه مقيدا ببعض شيوخه وأخرج له الإمام عن غير ذلك الشيخ الذي تكلم في روايته عنه، أو كان الكلام فيه بسبب بدعته، وراعى الإمام في الرواية عنه تحريه الصدق والأمانة، ومنهم من ينتقد على الإمام روايته عنه مع جرحه له وهو راوٍ واحد، إلا أنه يعتذر للإمام بأنه بلديه وأنه انتقى من حديثه. وأفاد البحث كذلك أن قول الأئمة في إمام إنه: ((لا يروي إلا عن ثقة))، محمول على الغالب وليس مطردا في جميع شيوخه.

Abstract: This research deals with a glimpse of the selection of sheikhs among the imams, and Imam Malik's concern with selecting narrators, then applied theoretical study of the narrators who came on the authority of Imam Malik whom he invalidated and narrated from them in his Muwatta', they were eleven narrators, and extrapolated his verdicts on them and compare them with the verdicts of others. The research answered the reason why the imam invalidated and narrated from them in muwatta'. It became clear through this research that these narrators included those whom imam did not invalidate, and some of them the imam was strict on him, or he narrated from him and then left the narration, or his invalidity was bound by some of his sheikhs and the imam narrated on behalf of another Sheikh who spoke in his narration, or he spoke about it because of his innovation(Bid'ah), and Imam Malik narrated about him considering his truthfulness and honesty, Imam Malik was criticized for invalidating some narrators and narrated from them, and it was one narrator, but the Imam was pardoned because the narrator was from his town and he carefully selected from his hadith. The research also indicated that the scholars ’saying about imam malik that: (He only narrates from trustworthy) is carried on by the majority and is not constant in all of his Teachers.
