يتعلق هذا البحث بمسألة أصولية هي: القواعد الأصولية المتعلقة بالسبب والفروع المخرجة عليها، وقد انتظم البحث في مقدمة، ومبحثين، وخاتمة، تم في المقدمة بيان أهمية البحث، وأسباب اختياره، وأسئلة البحث، والدراسات السابقة، وخطة البحث، والمنهج الذي سرت عليه، وتم في المبحث الأول ذكر ستة مطالب، المطلب الأول في: تعريف القواعد الأصولية لغة واصطلاحاً، (بمعناها الإفرادي و اللقبي)، والمطلب الثاني في بيان أركان وشروط القاعدة الأصولية، والمطلب الثالث في: أهمية القاعدة الأصولية، والمطلب الرابع في: تعريف السبب لغة واصطلاحاً، وبيان أقسامه، والفرق بينه وبين المصطلحات الأصولية المشابهة له، والمطلب الخامس: تعريف الفروع لغة واصطلاحاً، والمطلب السادس في: تعريف التخريج لغة واصطلاحاً، وتم في المبحث الثاني ذكر القواعد الأصولية المتعلقة بالسبب من حيث: شرحها، وذكر أدلتها إن وجدت، وذكر الفروع المخرجة عليها، ثم ختمت البحث بخاتمة مختصرة.
واتضح من البحث أهمية السبب، وكثرة القواعد المتعلقة به، والفروع المخرجة على هذه القواعد.

Abstract: Research Summary
This research concerns a fundamental issue: the fundamental rules related to the cause and the branches that lead to it. The research is organized into an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. In the introduction, the importance of the research, the reasons for choosing it, the research questions, previous studies, the research plan, and the methodology that was followed were explained. In the first section, six demands were mentioned. The first requirement is: defining the fundamentalist rules linguistically and terminologically (in their individual and titular meaning), the second requirement is explaining the pillars and conditions of the fundamentalist rule, the third requirement is: the importance of the fundamentalist rule, and the fourth requirement is: defining the reason linguistically and terminologically. And a statement of its divisions, and the difference between it and similar fundamentalist terms, and the fifth requirement: defining the branches linguistically and terminologically, and the sixth requirement: defining the externalization linguistically and terminologically, and in the second section, the fundamentalist rules related to the reason were mentioned in terms of: explaining them, mentioning their evidence if they exist, and mentioning the externalizing branches. Then, I concluded the research with a brief conclusion.
The research became clear about the importance of the reason, the many rules related to it, and the branches that follow these rules.
