المستخلص: يتحدث البحثُ عن تفسير الإمام ابن الجوزي، من حيثُ مضمونُه جملةً، وسببُ تأليفه له، وكيفيةُ منهجه فيه، وبعضُ مسائل التفسير العامة. كما يتطرق عن احتوائه لعلم القراءات، من حيث ورودُها فيه، وطريقةُ عرضه لها، وكيفيةُ تعامله معها، وهل كل ما يذكره من القراءات مقطوع به، أم أن فيه المقبول والمردود؟، وكيف يربط بين القراءات والتفسير من حيثُ المعنى، ومعرفةُ اصطلاحات المفسرين لرموز هذا الفن، وهل له مصادر يرجع إليها من أمهات كتب القراءات أم لا؟.

Abstract: The research discusses the Tafseer (Quranic exegesis) of Imam Ibn al-Jawzi, in terms of its overall content, the reason for writing it, and his approach in it, and some general issues of Quranic exegesis. It also discusses its inclusion of the science of Qiraa‘aat, in terms of its inclusion in it, the way it was presented, and how Ibn Al-Jawzi related with it in the book, and [the question that] could all the Qiraa‘aat he mentioned be regarded authentic, or is it that some are acceptable while some are not? And how did he relate between Qiraa‘aat and exegesis in terms of meaning, and the knowledge of the terms of the exegetes about the technical signs of this field. And did he has sources upon which he relied among the mainstream books of Qiraa‘aat, or not?
