ولتحقيق أهداف هذا البحث اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي كونه الأقرب لطبيعة البحث، وذلك لوصف بيانات البحث وتحليل نتائجه.
وصمّمَ الباحث استبانتين، الأولى: للمعلمين وأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالمعهد؛ التي تتألف من ستّ محاور، والثانية: للطلاب، وتتألف من نفس محاور المعلمين، إلا أنها تختلف في الصياغة لتتناسب ومستويات الطلاب اللغوية.
ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل البحث إليها:
أنّ مشكلات تعليم مهارة الكلام تتمثل في البيئة التعليمية غير المهيئة، وضعف المحتوى الموجود، وضعف استخدام الوسائل التعليمية والأنشطة، وقلة وطرق تدريس المستخدمة، وقلة تدريب المعلم للطلاب على تبادل الحوار الثنائي والجمعي.

Abstract: Research Objective: To identify the problems of teaching skill of speech at the Institute of Teaching Arabic language at the Islamic University of Madinah, To achieve the goals of this research, the researcher followed the descriptive-analytical approach, being the closest to the nature of the research, to describe the research data and analyze its results.
The researcher designed two questionnaires, the first: for teachers and faculty members at the institute; Which consists of six themes. The second: for students, and it consists of the same themes of teachers, but they differ in the formulation to suit students’ language levels.
Among the most important findings of the research:
1- That the problems of teaching the skill of speech are represented in the unprepared educational environment, the weak existing content, the weak use of educational methods and activities, the inadequacy of teaching methods used, and the lack of teacher training for students to exchange bilateral and collective dialogue.
